Crown Princess Katherine with Lifeline Chicago young ambassadors continue humanitarian mission visiting Zabrezje near Obrenovac

Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine visited today the Home for Children in Zvecanska Street in Belgrade, the Home for children without parental care “Drinka Pavlovic” and Zabrezje near Obrenovac, together with her sister, Mrs. Betty Roumeliotis, Dr Katarina Conrad from Houston  and the thirty-seven young ambassadors of Lifeline Humanitarian Organization from Chicago who are on a several day humanitarian mission to Serbia. Lifeline Humanitarian Organization Patron is HRH Princess Katherine.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine said that she was very grateful to young ambassadors of Lifeline Chicago for their efforts and diligent work in helping their people in Serbia.

During this humanitarian mission Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine together with the thirty-seven young ambassadors of Lifeline Humanitarian Organization from Chicago brought joy to the children from the two homes presenting them with gifts and love that they show at each visit, and the mission continued in Zabrezje near Obrenovac, where the residents whose homes were damaged during last year’s May floods received aid in the form of home appliances (106 refrigerators and electric stoves) and 65 boxes for 65 families containing personal hygiene items and 65 boxes of food. Also, thanks to donations from Lifeline Chicago in the amount of 3 million dinars (€ 25,000), the Cultural Centre in Zabrezje was renovated.
