HRH PRINCESS KATHERINE FOUNDATION SENDS CHILDREN
TO SUMMER CAMP IN GREECE

Belgrade 16 August 2006 – For the fifth year in a row the HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation in cooperation with Lifeline Hellas Humanitarian Organization also under the patronage of Princess Katherine managed to send over 100 children from institutions specialized in child care to the summer camp.

In four groups, 100 children from various institutions travelled to Greece (Kefalonia, Athens, Litohoro) and to Zlatibor mountain in Serbia. The fifth group started the trip from Belgrade this morning to Asprovalta, Greece.

Five child minders and 38 children (age 8 to 12) from Institutions in Kragujevac, Krusevac, Aleksinac, Banja Koviljaca, Paracin and from Kosovo left for Children Camp Centre Lydia in Asprovalta, Greece, some 80 kilometres from Thessaloniki. The foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine with the assistance of various donors provided this group with free transportation, accommodation, free meals and allowance. This group will return from Greece 28 August.

The Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine is using this opportunity to thank Municipality of Pozarevac, TE KO Kostolac Pozarevac, Zepter Insurance Belgrade, Coordination Centre Belgrade, and Children Vacation Centre Lydia in Asprovalta and the Embassy of Greece in Belgrade.
