HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINEAT THE HUMANITARIAN AUCTION "NAJTORTE" 

Belgrade, 18 November 2006. - HRH  Crown Princess Katherine and Mrs. Alison Andrews, daughter of Her Royal Highness, attended today the traditional 17th  humanitarian auction of Novosti Corporation, named "Najtorte" in the Intercontinental Hotel in Belgrade.

The funds raised at the auction of the most beautiful cakes that were prepared by the readers of the daily newspaper Vecernje Novosti, is aimed for the treatment of sick children, for support to the families at the edge of existence and young talents. The cakes which were not bought at the auction will be donated to the Institutions for the children without parental care. Numerous people of good will have gathered in the hall of the Hotel to support this philanthropic goal with their generosity. The cake bought by Princess Katherine was sent to Tirsova Children's Clinic. 

 After the humanitarian auction, HRH Crown Princess Katherine and Mrs Alison Andrews have visited the Belgrade Furniture Fair.
