HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE SENDS CONGRATULATIONS FOR WORLD HEALTH DAY

Belgrade, 7 April 2008 – Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine extended her congratulations to Dr Dorit Nitzan Kaluski, Head of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Office in Serbia, on the occasion of World Health Day.

 In her letter of congratulations, the Crown Princess emphasized: “My husband Crown Prince Alexander and I have much respect for all the efforts that you have made to improve the health of people and the quality of life in our country.

This year’s World Health Day theme Protecting health from climate change can serve as a reminder that no nation can act alone and that we are all closely interrelated when it comes to addressing health issues at the global level”.
