H.R.H. CROWN PRINCESS KATARINA BECOMES THE HONORARY PRESIDENT
OF THE SERBIAN RED CROSS

H R H Crown Princess Katarina has delivered to the Public Kitchen at Dorcol (Municipality Stari Grad) help in food and fruit.

At today’s meeting with the Serbian and Yugoslav Red Cross, H.R.H. Crown Princess Katarina
accepted to be the honorary president of Serbian Red Cross. This honor once belonged to HM
Queen Marija (the grandmother of Crown Prince Alexander) who was known as a great
philanthropist.

Mrs. Brankica Bilbija, General Secretary of Serbian Red Cross, Mrs. Jelena Pešić, General
Secretary of Yugoslav Red Cross and Mr. Peter Stocker, Chief of Delegation of International
Committee of the Red Cross form Geneva attended the meeting.

HRH Crown Princess Katarina expressed her gratitude for the trust shown in her and
emphasized that with this gesture her family and herself were paid great honor and that they
would do everything possible to make Serbian Red Cross function better and to help the people
in need.
Before the visit to Serbian Red Cross, H.R.H. Crown Princess Katarina visited the National
Kitchen at Dorćol and delivered humanitarian help that included food and fruit.
