H.R.H. CROWN PRINCESS KATARINA ATTENDS DONATION OF NEW YEAR’S PRESENTS TO CHILDREN WITHOUT PARENTAL CARE

Today H.R.H. Crown Princess Katarina Karadjordjevic along with H.R.H. Princess Katarina (Mrs. de Silva) and her daughter Victoria de Silva attended the New Year’s Performance in the Sava Centre and the donation of presents to children without parental care. The organisers were the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, the Centre for the Care of Children and other people of good will and 2500 children without parental care from 36 institutions of social care. Everyone enjoyed the programme in which numerous famous persons from the world of entertainment, sports and music took part.

Addressing those present H.R.H. Crown Princess Katarina said that our children are our greatest treasure and that this is the chance to show that to them. “My heart is full when I see this many people together on a human endeavour and therefore, I am sure that we can hope for a better and more beautiful future for our children,” – Princess Katarina emphasized.
In the name of the organizers the following addressed those present: Mrs. Gоrdаnа Маtkоvic, the Republic Minister for Social Issues and Mr. Boris Stajkovac, the director of the Center for the Care of Children.
