HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE OPENS TRADITIONAL EASTER REFUGEE WOMEN’S HANDICRAFTS BAZAAR

Belgrade, 12 March 2010 – HRH Crown Princess Katherine and Mr. Vladimir Cucic, Serbian Commissioner for Refugees, opened today the traditional Easter refugee women’s handicrafts Bazaar at the Hall 5 at the Belgrade Fair.

HRH Princess Katherine addressed the exhibitors and guests and said: “All proceedings from this humanitarian event are in aid of women refugees and their families and other socially deprived citizens. Therefore, by buying these unique traditional Serbian items, you are assisting those who are most vulnerable in our society. So please invite your friends and neighbours to come to visit the traditional Easter Bazaar”.

The Humanitarian Easter Bazaar gathered 60 exhibitors this year, including several schools for children with developmental problems.

The Bazaar will be opened every day from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm until Sunday, March 14.
