H.R.H. CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE’S HUMANITARIAN AID TO CACAK

 

Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine visited today Vujan Monastery near Cacak, where she attended the Slava celebration and opening of the traditional Flute players Festival.

In the refugee camp in Prislonica, Princess Katherine delivered humanitarian aid containing children’s bicycles, toys, baby bottles, sewing machines, fabrics, spectacles, pasta and blankets. Some of the aid will stay at the camp, while the rest will be forwarded to the Commission for Refugees in Cacak.

“Dr Dragisa Misovic” Hospital in Cacak  got a substantial amount of food from Princess Katherine. In talks held with the doctors and staff HRH Crown Princess Katherine learnt about conditions in which the patients were cared for and possible ways to assist this hospital in the future.

Princess Katherine also visited the Association of Dystrophy and Paraplegia Sufferers where she delivered blankets and seven wheelchairs.

Her Royal Highness’s visit to the Cacak region drew a lot of media attention with journalists showing great interest in her various humanitarian activities.
