Crown Princess Katherine organized for hearing impaired children travel and training at camp in Detroit, Michigan

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine received today at the Royal Palace a group who will stay in the United States 11-24 July 2015, in a camp for hearing impaired children training at a camp in Detroit, Michigan. This trip was organized by the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine in cooperation with Dr. Daniel Megler, a gentleman of Serbian origin who lives and works in the United States. The trip has been organized for two teachers from “Stefan Decanski” special school and a seven-year-old girl who attends this school, accompanied by her mother.

The special school’s principal Leposava Petrovic thanked Crown Princess Katherine for this great opportunity provided for the teachers and the student of the school to upgrade their knowledge in implementing new methods of communication with hearing impaired people, which they will have in the camp in Detroit in the United States. Doctor Megler who is the President of “The Holley Family Village” In Detroit Michigan, was visiting in Belgrade their Royal Highnesses and suggested to organize this visit of the child with parents and teachers to this special camp in the USA and agreed to  cover all costs.
