CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE’S ROYAL GARDEN ROSES FOR ELDERLY LADIES

HRH Crown Princess Katherine surprised the ladies in the Vozdovac Home for the Elderly People and delivered them today bouquets of beautiful roses from the Royal garden. Over sixty ladies in the home received flowers from Her Royal Highness, as has been done many times in previous years.

Numerous activities of HRH Crown Princess Katherine and her Foundation are directed towards helping and supporting the elderly. In addition to material help for the institutions where they live, Her Royal Highness always wishes to also provide emotional support and to show love and caring for older people. Mrs. Ljiljana Dunjić, on behalf of this institution, welcomed the Crown Princess and thanked her for her thoughtfulness and commitment to providing for the elderly.

During this visit, in addition to beautiful bouquets, the ladies also received thin button-up sweaters as a gift, donated by the Lifeline Humanitarian Organisation of Chicago, which operates under the patronage of HRH Crown Princess Katherine.

“Our elderly citizens deserve our utmost care, respect, and attention. We should never underestimate the value of a kind word, a warm smile, or simply asking how they are and how they feel. Such gestures, though simple, mean a great deal and bring comfort and joy to their lives.

Since the founding of my Foundation, supporting elderly people has been an important part of our mission. We want you to know that you are remembered, appreciated, and never alone. The knowledge, wisdom, and life experience you have gained throughout the years are treasures that should inspire and guide younger generations.

My Foundation and I will continue to do all we can to provide assistance and help make life brighter and more fulfilling for our senior citizens. I wish you many years of happiness, good health, and peace, surrounded by the love, care, and affection of your children, grandchildren, and loved ones,” stated HRH Crown Princess Katherine on this occasion.
