TRADITIONAL EASTER MEALS FROM HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE AND LIFELINE CHICAGO

The HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation, together with the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, whose patron is Her Royal Highness, has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to those in need by organizing special Easter meals for children without parental care, as well as for women and children residing in shelters and safe houses across Serbia and the Republic of Srpska.

As a heartfelt reflection of their devotion, Easter lunches and dinners were delivered to thirteen institutions for children and youth in Belgrade, Sombor, Kruševac, Kragujevac, Bela Crkva, Aleksinac, and Pančevo in Serbia, as well as in Banja Luka in the Republic of Srpska, and to four women’s shelters in both Serbia and the Republic of Srpska.

This act of kindness – through the sharing of a bountiful and nourishing Easter meal – brings a renewed sense of hope, joy, and peace to the children in these institutions, as well as to the women and children in the shelters, reminding them that they are cherished and never forgotten by the benefactors supporting them from across the world.

“My husband and I are deeply grateful to each and every donor and benefactor of Lifeline Chicago for their remarkable generosity and continued support of our shared mission—bringing comfort and joy to our children during this Easter season,” said HRH Crown Princess Katherine. “Above all, it is vital that our children feel loved and know that they are never forgotten. Our mission is to offer them a safe haven and an opportunity to believe in a bright future – one where love, community, and hope create meaningful change.”
