Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, operating under the Patronage of HRH Crown Princess Katherine, has successfully renovated two children’s playgrounds in Belgrade, at The Jovan Jovanović Zmaj Home for Children and at The Drinka Pavlović Home for Children.
The two beautiful playgrounds, originally donated by The John and Mildred Medich Wuchenich Foundation, longtime dedicated supporters of Lifeline Chicago, have been completely updated and renovated. The existing playground equipment was refurbished and the playgrounds were further enhanced with new features to continue to create and to ensure safe and stimulating conditions for the children.
These renovations and enhancements were also made possible by the incredible generosity and support of The John and Mildred Medich Wuchenich Foundation, continuing their longstanding commitment to improving the lives of children.
“Children deserve a carefree childhood filled with play, joy, and safety. I am very happy that we have been able to renovate these playgrounds and provide the children with a more beautiful and stimulating space in which to grow up. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the John and Mildred Medich Wuchenich Foundation for their longstanding dedication and generosity, as well as to everyone who supports our work. Our mission is to provide every child with the love, care, and support they deserve,” said Princess Katherine.
This project represents another important step in Lifeline Chicago’s long-standing mission to improve the quality of life of children without parental care, by providing them with a safe, stimulating, and joyful environment in which to develop and progress.
Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago expresses heartfelt gratitude to its donors and benefactors, whose continued support makes such vital projects possible.
