Christmas Charity Women Refugees Handicrafts Bazaar under Crown Princess Katherine’s auspices

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine opened the traditional Christmas Bazaar in the Delta city shopping mall in Belgrade.

The opening was also attended by Ms. Maja Gojkovic, president of the National Assembly of Serbia, Dr Nenad Ivanisevic, State Secretary at the Ministry of labour, employment, veteran and social policy, Ms. Beatrice Grozdanic, Special Advisor to the Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs and Mr. Vladimir Cucic, Commissioner for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia who thanked the Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine and all those who have contributed to the success of the Charity Bazaar.

On this occasion, Princess Katherine handed two TV devices to the Home for Children and Youth with Developmental Disabilities from Veternik.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation has been organizing the Christmas Charity Bazaar for many years with a desire to help the displaced persons, refugees and socially vulnerable people who support their families by selling the most beautiful handicrafts. This year’s bazaar is participated by more than 40 women from all over Serbia.

Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine pointed out in her speech that all income is being intended for these brave women and their families, and ask visitors to invite their friends and families to visit this remarkable event.

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine, together with Mr. Vladimir Cucic cut the red ribbon and thus officially opened the Bazaar.

The Christmas Bazaar will be open to the public on November 28 from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and November 29 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, in the main hall of the shopping mall.

Crown Princess Katherine Foundation expressed their gratitude to management of Delta city shopping mall for their hospitality.
