Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine donated valuable aid to the University Children’s Hospital in Tirsova Street. Among the equipment there are respirator – high frequency oscillating fan, infusion pump, as well as a TV device for making patients more pleasant.
The respirator – high frequency oscillating fan, worth €40,000, is a part of €94,000 funds collected during the campaign “Help for babies”. This campaign was realized in cooperation with TV presenter Ivan Ivanovic and Lifeline New York Humanitarian Organization whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine. This is a third medical device bought from these funds (one respirator was donated to the Clinic for Pediatric Surgery and Orthopedics in Nis, as well as a fiber-optic bronchoscope delivered to the Children’s Hospital in Novi Sad).
The infusion pump is worth $2,000 and this is a donation from Ambassador Nancy Brinker, founder of the Komen Foundation, one of the leading breast cancer foundations in the world.
Also, LG company donated the TV device to the University Children’s Hospital. This donation was a part of the humanitarian event “24 hours of Elegance” organized by The Foundation of HRH Crown Princess Katherine and De Gorsi Luxury Consultancy at the White Palace in September.
“I am very proud to be here again, among these beautiful children and people, and to make another delivery in order to make their lives a little bit better. I am also very proud of the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization Offices in New York, thanks to whom we are able to bring this valuable aid to the University Children’s Hospital. These valuable donations are part of the continuing assistance that my Foundation and I provide for this Hospital, and I am happy that our dedicated work is giving such good results”, said Crown Princess Katherine.
On behalf of the Hospital’s staff and patients, the Director, Professor Zoran Radojicic, thanked Crown Princess Catherine for the help.
