Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, whose patron is Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine, and HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation in Belgrade continued their support of The Rada Vranjesevic Home for Children in Banja Luka, the Republic of Srpska, as the second phase of renovations was successfully completed.
In this phase of the renovations, the ground floor of the Home was completely renovated and refurbished. The funding of this phase was made possible by the generous donors and volunteers per Lifeline Chicago’s 4th Annual Golf Outing, which was held in Florida on the 2nd of April, 2022, and organized by dedicated Lifeline supporter, Rade Savich.
This vast undertaking included the painting of the entire floor and the following purchases of all new furniture and accessories: 8 wardrobes/closets, 20 nightstands, 20 beds complete with mattresses and bedding sets, 30 dining room chairs and 3 dining tables, living room furniture including a television and television stand, bookcases, a sectional sofa, coffee tables and end tables, carpeting, curtains, 10 small armchairs, various stools, and 2 toy boxes.

Knowing that we have brought joy in their hearts gives me the strength to do even more for our people and children in Serbia and the Republic of Srpska”, said HRH Crown Princess Katherine.

The realization of this project significantly improved the standard of living of our youngest users. The little ones were very happy with the new space for their stay and play, and the joy and smiles on their faces are priceless to us.
