Crown Princess Katherine visited Kraljevo today and donated a car for the transport for patients treatments to Health Centre

Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine visited Kraljevo today and donated a Fiat 500L car, worth 10,350 € to Health Center “Studenica”. Lifeline Canada Humanitarian Organization whose patron is HRH Crown Princess Katherine provided funds to buy the car.

The Mayor of Kraljevo Mr Tomislav Ilic and the director of the Health Center “Studenica” Dr Zoran Mrvic welcomed Crown Princess Katherine at the Health Center. The car will be used for transportation patients who need treatment.

Crown Princess Katherine said she was very happy to deliver the car and thanked Lifeline Canada Humanitarian Organisation for their contribution to this project possible.

“We have managed to raise funds at the humanitarian fundraising event for six cars that will be donated to hospitals in Serbia. I know that you have a lot of problems and that you need a lot of help. I wish you to use this car efficiently for a long time for the benefit of your patients”, said Crown Princess Katherine.

Her Royal Highness visited children at the Health Center’s pediatric ward and brought them toys to cheer up the young patients who are treated at the hospital.

Crown Princess Katherine has helped Health Center in Kraljevo before, and donated one ambulance, one incubator, 200 mattresses and bed linen.

After visiting the Health Centre  accompanied by her sister Mrs Betty Roumeliotis, Crown Princess Katherine went to the Kraljevo Town Hall where she met with directors of public companies and representatives of Association of the Kingdom of Serbia and discussed how they could all together, by joining efforts, help the citizens of Kraljevo in these difficult times.
