CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE’S FOUNDATION SENDS FOOD DONATION FOR KOSOVO AND METOHIJA

In order to help the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, the Crown Princess Katherine’s Foundation sent a donation worth more than 6,000 Euros to the meal centre “Mother of the Nine Jugovic”
Help packages for the Serbian population consist of basic foods – flour, pasta, beans, rice, spices, soups, oils, sugar etc. The donation was provided thanks to Lifeline Chicago Humanitarian Organization, whose patron is Crown Princess Katherine, and companies Zitopromet, Sunoko who operates as a part of MK Group system, Moravka Pro and Victoria Group.
“This donation is to help our people, but we must not stop there, I appeal to everyone to help our people get through difficult days and challenges that they face every day. Crown Prince Alexander and I will always help as much as we can”, said Crown Princess Katherine in her message to the Serbs in Kosovo.
The humanitarian organization “Mother of the Nine Jugovic” manages 6 meal centres throughout Kosovo and Metohia, providing meals for over two thousand people. The management of this organization have pointed out that they are very happy to receive this donation, which will help our people in Kosovo and Metohija to welcome the New Year.
The organization was established in 2000 and is officially registered by the UNMIK. During its twelve years of work, the organization has worked intensively with international and local NGOs. The organization is headquartered in Gracanica Monastery.
