HRH CROWN PRINCESS KATHERINE HOSTS INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY LUNCH AT THE WHITE PALACE

Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine hosted today the traditional “Ladies Lunch” in honor of March 8 – International Women’s Day, at the White Palace in Belgrade. HRH Crown Princess Katherine organized the lunch for the ladies senior officials, the wives of senior Serbian officials, lady ambassadors, wives of ambassadors, representatives of international organizations in Serbia and other distinguished ladies.

Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine welcomed the distinguished guests and emphasized the importance of the support from the present ladies when it comes to humanitarian actions and projects aimed at improving women’s health.

“As every year on this day I would like to call upon all ladies to be united in promoting humanitarian activities and to do their best to make our environment better and more beautiful. The traditional Easter Bazaar of women refugees and Easter reception for more than 1,000 children without parental care are the events that my Foundation is currently preparing and I would like to invite you to join us in order to help these vulnerable groups. Dear ladies, mothers, grandmothers, please take care of yourself, stay healthy, love life and be humane”, said HRH Crown Princess Katherine.

Among the distinguished guests were HRH Princess Fallon, Mrs. Tamara Vucic, First lady, HE Mr. Aleksandar Vucic, President of Republic of Serbia’s spouse, wives of Minister Vulin and Minister Sarcevic, HE Dr Alona Fisher Kamm, Ambassador of Israel, Mrs. Beba Marinkovic, mother of Princess Danica, and other distinguished guests.

HRH Crown Princess Katherine thanked all those who helped that this event took place: guitar player Mr. Nemanja Bogunovic, Children’s Cultural Center Belgrade Choir, opera singer Mrs. Jadranka Jovanovic, Maruska studio, “Bean and Leaf” company for the delicious coffee and refreshments, Kovacevic vinery and Artival.
