Lifeline Hellas Humanitarian Organization organized a humanitarian concert on August 7, 2018 under the auspices of HRH Crown Princess Katherine at Old Fortress (Palaio Frourio) in Corfu with the famous singer Tolis Voskopoulos accompanied with the Philharmonic Orchestra ‘Omonia’ of Gastouri and the Choirs of Arahavis and Kanalion, in aid of the Pediatric Department of Corfu Hospital and for those who affected by the wildfires in Mati, Attiki.
The famous Greek singer Tolis Voskopoulos celebrated 60 years in his singing career and the Philharmonic Orchestra ‘Omonia’ of Gastouri, one of the most ancient philharmonic of Corfu, 120 years since its foundation. It was a unique night where more than 100 people on the stage gave a great performance.
Crown Princess Katherine in her supportive message she expressed the urge that everyone should help the Hospital in Corfu and also those affected by the wildfires in Mati and she mentioned the value of offer to our fellow humans in need.
The President of Lifeline Hellas Dr. Zisis Boukouvalas thanked everyone who helped this concert to take place, the sponsors and the attendees and also he mentioned the great humanitarian work of Lifeline Hellas to the Children’s Hospitals in Greece.
The concert was attended by the members of Lifeline Hellas Board of Directors, the President Dr. Zisis Mpoukouvalas and the Vise-President Dr. Alkistis Prinou Boukouvala. Also among the attendees were the spouse of Mr. Tolis Voskopoulos, Mrs. Angela Gerekou and their daughter Mrs. Maria Voskopoulou.
